The old behavior was to have the default be on so that histogram:info works and let the users turn it off for making an image histogram. However, I am not sure why you are changing this behavior for IM 7. I think that would be best, if Magick does not object, so that others do not fall into this trap. I'll restore the default 'true' status in IMv6 if you want. But I only backport compatible or bug fix changes. My updates for the percent escape handling for example. A lot of development still happens in BOTH. I have no idea why this change is in IMv6, probably due to a 'backport' from the coder. I even documented it in Porting (no idea if changes are migrating to the actual web page though). No output to terminalĬonvert rose: +dither -colors 12 -depth 8 1rose1.gif format %c histogram:info: does not seem to work.
